To put it simple: $DYOR is a way for investors to recoup their losses from falling for scams like rugpulls or honeypots.

Alright, but what exactly is $DYOR?

DoYourOwnResearch is an antirug token, that will reimburse scam victims. Doing one’s own research as well as due diligence should be the foundation of your every trade. We want to make it easier for you to do that!

How will $DYOR do that?

We will host semiweekly DD-Raffles, that victims will be able to apply to to win $DYOR. You are eligible if you lost $100 in a rugpull/honeypot and holt at least $200 worth of $DYOR.

How does the DD-Raffle work exactly?

DD-Raffles are hosted twice a week. There will be a Honeypot Monday and a Rugpull Thursday. Each DD-Raffle you will be able to apply to win some of your money back. To start it off, we will be raffling 1% of the current liquidity to 10 eligible participants, the winnings will be evenly split. As the Token grows in worth, we will go away from hosting general Honeypot/Rugpull raffles — instead we will go over to reimbursing victims of specific scam projects and split the pot evenly with every eligible participant instead of only ten winners. As this approach is not viable at the start, we are planning to integrate it once we’ve reached a certain size to reach the maximum number of victims.

How will you pay for the DD-Raffle?

Every transaction is taxed 9%. ______ 5% go into liquidity to strengthen the price floor, 2% go back to the holders and 2% go into the DD-Vault to fund different things, the DD-Raffle among them.

What else will the DD-Vault fund?

The DD-Vault is the heart of $DYOR. It acts as a marketing fund, development fund, DD-Raffle fund and will be used to issue manual burns. It will constantly be filled by taking a 2% tax of every transaction, granting a safe way to finance the project.

But how will you make doing one’s own research easier?

We are planning on compiling an extensive guide (the DD-Guide), that beginner as well as advanced traders can come back to, to educate themselves on how to avoid getting scammed. Having an overview of all the current antics of scammers is hard when you don’t know where to get the information. The DD-Guide will not only explain the basics and what to look out for, but it will also be updated with the latest scamming schemes to beware of. As we believe knowledge should not never be charged, the DD-Guide will be free.

What else will you do to make DD easier?

We want to develop a rug checker (the DD-Scan) that can scan contract codes for potential exploits and signs of potential rugs. This will be free of charge, but to use it, you will need to hold a certain amount of $DYOR.

But … what else can you do to make it even easier?

In the future we would like to develop a launchpad that will host vetted projects, that we believe in. Of course you should still do your own research, but it’s a great first step!
